Kalli Kronmiller, CHMC

Expressive Art Therapist
I specialize in working with children and adolescents dealing with internalized emotions, severe emotional and neurologic disorders, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, behavior disorders, PTSD, and relationship/social conflicts. I also work with parents, families, and individuals to offer support and assist in learning to resolve conflicts peacefully, deal with and express negative feelings without being hurtful, set firm limits while maintaining goodwill, and improve relationships. I utilize play therapy, expressive therapies (art, music, movement, drama, writing), and talk therapies to assist individuals to increase self awareness/self expression, work through and gain insight into one’s own experiences, and learn coping and relationship skills.
I am an Expressive Arts Therapist and Mental Health Counselor, and Yoga Instructor. I hold a Masters of Arts degree in Expressive Therapies and Mental Health Counseling, a Master of Family and Human Development degree, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I am a certified Yoga Instructor and Therapeutic Partner Yoga Practitioner.
My approach is unique and eclectic in the combination of my training and practice in expressive arts therapies (music/art/dance/drama/play therapies), yoga, mental health counseling, mindfulness, previous teaching, and research experience which allows me to help in an empathetic, compassionate, unique way that caters to the whole person.
