A strong, collaborative therapeutic relationship is key to effective healing and it’s important to me that you feel confident in your choice of a therapist. As another human in the room with you, I strive to create a warm and accepting environment where we will focus on what matters to you. Together, we will identify things to explore for your own growth, how your family and other relationships impact you, and acknowledge any grief that you might be experiencing. We often find ourselves grieving not only for loved ones we have lost, but also for dreams, goals, trust, and the life and/or world we once knew. These losses deserve acknowledgement and space for healing.

As a therapist intern and MSW student at the U of U, I have excellent support from, and collaborate with, other skilled therapists within The Healing Group to ensure a solid foundation of support for women, young adults, and families who are navigating health challenges, life transitions, and grief and loss.

My personal experience with severe anxiety during my pregnancies was a motivating factor to focus on women's health. I was struggling with my daily responsibilities and my anxiety was affecting a lot of my relationships, but I didn't realize that’s what was happening until long after. Understanding this started my journey toward helping other women navigate similar challenges so that they receive support throughout their experience, not just after the fact. As a parent, I am also passionate about healthy relationship dynamics and providing support during the transitions that families experience as children grow into their own identities.

Outside of the therapy room, I am also a graphic designer and I recognize the value of artistic and creative work in the therapy room. I have volunteered with a local program for LGBTQIA+ youth, facilitating art night activities and I currently help with a local grief support group for kids and parents who have lost family members. I love working and connecting with people of all ages, offering them a safe and understanding space to heal, grow and thrive.

I love this work and I look forward to being a part of your journey, helping you navigate life's challenges and achieve the well-being you deserve.
