Marketing Manager - The Healing Group Institute
Part-Time, Remote, W2
The Healing Group Institute is seeking a Marketing & Membership Growth Manager who wants to do meaningful work inside a values-driven organization. This role is responsible for proactively creating and applying marketing strategy to grow our professional membership community.
The Healing Group was founded in 2009 to address mental health areas often overlooked in graduate training — sexuality, reproductive health, trauma, and relationships. Female-founded and led, our organization operates from four core values: Passion in Action, Integrity, Ecosystem Mindset, and Safety. These values shape not only our clinical work, but how we collaborate as a team.
After 16 years of growth, we launched The Healing Group Institute to meet a growing demand from professionals nationwide who want training that builds not only competence, but confidence and community.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
Membership-Focused Marketing Execution
Develop and Implement marketing campaigns designed to grow membership enrollment.
Execute content aligned with THGI developed strategy and messaging.
Ensure all communications consistently reinforce our three pillars.
Development and strategy with paid ads such as Meta, Google, LinkedIn and Reddit
Social Media Management
Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar aligned with membership growth goals.
Create high-quality reels, carousels, and thought leadership posts.
Repurpose educational content into engaging social media.
Manage scheduling and posting
Professionally engage with comments and community interactions.
Email Marketing & Funnels
Write and schedule strategic emails in Mailchimp.
Support launch sequences and nurture campaigns.
Optimize calls-to-action tied to membership enrollment.
Support segmentation and list growth efforts.
Metrics & Reporting
Track KPIs tied to membership growth (conversion rates, email CTR, engagement-to-enrollment ratios).
Provide monthly reporting with clear insights.
Identify opportunities to improve performance based on data.

Who We’re Looking For
You:
Have 3+ years of experience in marketing for a professional, education-based, or membership organization.
Experience with Mailchimp (or similar), paid ad platforms, task management software, and maximizing in-person events.
Understand conversion not just content creation.
Can demonstrate measurable growth results through past campaigns, events, and analytics.
Write exceptionally well with clarity and purpose.
Are organized, proactive, and deadline-driven.
Communicate consistently and clearly with leadership.
Thrive on collaborative teams while independently executing your work.
You are not:
A beginner learning marketing fundamentals
Someone who needs weekly direction to move projects forward.
A generalist who “can post on Instagram.”

The Healing Group is excited to open up new positions for therapists at our American Fork location. We are looking for provisionally licensed team members wanting to work part-time.

The Healing Group is growing! We are seeking a warm, compassionate, hard-working, and highly organized Client Care Coordinator for a part-time position at our Midvale location.
Open schedule:
Responsibilities include:
Scheduling client appointments
Answering and returning phone calls from current clients, potential clients, medical providers, and others in the community.
Responding to texts and emails.
Supporting clinical staff with administrative needs
Working directly with the Office Manager and THG Leadership Team.

Medical Billing Specialist - [CURRENTLY CLOSED]
Reports to: Administrative Manager, Office Manager
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
FLSA Status: Full and Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Summary/Objective:
The Billing Manager is directly responsible for managing The Healing Group’s billing for insurance, 3rd party, and client pay. The billing specialist and billing team play an integral role in a client’s overall treatment and wellness. As such, proactive and compassionate communication is critical for this position as well as keeping internal reports current and accurate. This is a communication heavy position requiring prompt response by phone, email, texting, and other methods of communication.
Requirements:
Proactively communicates with THG team members, clients, and insurance providers during work hours
Participate in chart opening and auditing processes as needed.
Submitting all EDI Claims
EDI Claim Rejections/denials
Posting ERA
Posting insurance paper payments/denials
Insurance Aging Report 60 days +
Meets company goals on all account receivables
Provides communication to all new THG clients to review billing processes and practices
Oversees preparation for statements and bills for clients, insurance, and 3rd party payers
Creates and provides a prioritized list of client accounts that need to be addressed.
Identifies and tracks problem accounts
Prepares weekly reports for billing meetings including the weekly manifest, review of the aging report, and accounts that need to go to collections.
Ensures insurance pay is being collected in a timely manner and according to the law
Makes recommendations on adding or dropping insurance panels
Posts all received payments regularly so aging report is accurate
Provides compassionate client care with disputes or inquiries concerning invoices or billing process
Advises team members on proper, legal parameters for collections practices; ensures that all billing actions comply with company, local, state, and federal guidelines
Meets aging report company goals through organized and proactive measures
Maintain open, positive, cordial, team-oriented lines of communication with Manager and other staff members.
Contribute to the Billing Department team through positive attitude, respectful interaction, innovative ideas, efficiency, and ethical behavior.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree highly preferred
5 years of Medical and mental health insurance billing
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, or related software
· Proficient understanding of collection practices and laws
· Excellent interpersonal and management skills
· Ability to act with discretion, tact, and professionalism in all situations
· Ability to maintain accurate records and produce reports
· Extreme attention to detail
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
