Kristin Hodson, LCSW, CST, CSTS

Kristin Hodson is Founder and Executive Director of The Healing Group and co-author of “Real Intimacy: A Couples Guide for Genuine, Healthy Sexuality.” (Cedar Fort, 2011) She has been a regular guest on RadioWest, Studio 5, and was a regular contributor on the Radio From Hell show on X-96 taking live calls on sex and intimacy.

She is an AASECT-certified sex therapist and supervisor specializing in sexual shame, LGBTQIA+, mixed-orientation marriage, out-of-control sexual behavior/sex addiction, moral conflict between religion and sexuality, sexuality and grief, and consults around complicated cases to provide referrals. Kristin is skilled at helping clients who feel stuck in their relationships and sexual health find creative solutions in-line with their values. She does this by working beside them collaboratively by reflective insight, experience and expertise. Clients often say they feel supported and safe to express and explore thoughts, emotions and vulnerabilities – bringing about new understanding. fulfilling changes and finding personal joy. She is a mother and wife and lives life passionately out loud.

Kristin offers presentations to groups, couples and organizations on a variety of sexual health topics. She also offers presentations and training to medical professionals and psychotherapists on the topic of identifying and treating pregnancy and postpartum mood disorders. Additionally, she presents to women’s groups around the greater Salt Lake Valley helping them to find balance and joy in their everyday living.
