Dr. LaShawn C Williams, LCSW is a Relational Change Strategist based in Orem, Utah. She owns Relational Spaces where she works as a therapist, educator & consultant to create change across differences where connection matters most.
Jameson Holman, LMFT
Jameson is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He has a great deal of experience working with adolescents and families. He is a very experiential therapist – using music, art and acting to help people work through their feelings and issues.
Jameson is an extrovert with over 10 years of experience including residential adolescent treatment. He has a creative hands-on approach. He is passionate about identifying needs, empowering people, and helping individuals achieve personal goals through therapeutic strategies and interventions.
Jameson uses (EFT)Emotionally-Focused Therapy to help couples overcome negative interactional cycles. He is very experiential using music and other hands on tools to work through issues. He believes in the Wellness Model of viewing people as having strengths to tap into. Jameson used a client-centered Therapy approach. He is trained in and uses a systems theory to view family dynamic conflicts.
Jameson earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Mississippi State University. He then went on to earn a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University. He is trained in (EFT) Emotional Focused Therapy. He has over 10 year of experience and training in inpatient and outpatient settings.
J. Tekulvē Jackson-Vann, LMFT
J. Tekulvē Jackson-Vann is a native of Milledgeville, Georgia and grew up in the shadows of Central State Hospital, which was once the largest Psychiatric hospital in the South. He was a Graduate with Distinction from Georgia Military College Prep School. After serving an LDS mission to East Lansing, Michigan, he earned a BS in Marriage, Family, and Human Development with an emphasis in Family Life Education from Brigham Young University-Provo. He earned a MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from Valdosta State University and studied Medical Family Therapy at Northcentral University. He has held national leadership positions within the National Council on Family Relations. His areas of interests include grief and loss, divorce recovery, substance abuse, adolescents, couples and family, and LGBT issues in addition to the connection between mental health and chronic illness. He is a Primary Therapist at a residential treatment center, has a private practice in Orem and Spanish Fork, and is the Clinical Supervisor at Alpine Recovery Lodge. He’s the father of 5 children.
Kimberly Applewhite, PsyD
Kimberly Applewhite, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist practicing in the Salt Lake City area. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from New York University (New York, NY), and a Masters of Science in School Psychology and Doctorate of Psychology in School-Clinical Child Psychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology of Yeshiva University (Bronx, NY). Kimberly received the Leadership and Education in Adolescent Health psychology postdoctoral fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital Division of Adolescent Medicine (Boston, MA), and was a fellow at Harvard Medical School before moving to Utah. She completed a second fellowship at the Neuropsychiatric Institute of the University of Utah (Salt Lake City, UT), and remains affiliated with the hospital serving adolescent and adult acute inpatient and youth day treatment units. Kimberly worked in the Counseling and Psychological Services division at Brigham Young University (Provo, UT) before transitioning to her current role as clinician and program coordinator of the Dialectical Behavior Therapy team at the Utah Center for Evidence Based Treatment (Salt Lake City, UT). Kimberly is a published author (along with colleagues Riana Anderson, PhD, Shawn C.T. Jones, PhD, Isha Metzger, PhD, and others) on the subject of racial trauma, and has presented at various conferences, including the American Psychological Association annual convention. She is also a proud wife and mother of two daughters.

Melanie D. Davis Ms LCMHC NBCC
Owner of Empath Healing and Wellness Mental Health Practice and Founding member of The Black Clinicians practitioner group, is a highly regarded speaker, educator, child advocate and psychotherapist.
In addition to being an experienced child and family therapist and presenter, she frequently appears on local media as an expert on children and family issues, cultural topics and transracial adoption related topics.
As a practitioner of holistic psychotherapy, Melanie’s treatment approach places an emphasis on the mind-body relationship and is both experiential and pragmatic. Melanie specializes in the treatment of Mood disorders, Anxiety and Trauma, as well as culture-based identity experiences. She works with individuals and couples to help them develop deeper connections to themselves and stronger more fulfilling relationships with others, resulting in increased vitality, liveliness and joy. Melanie finds honor in the opportunity to partner with her clients on their journey towards restoration and growth.
Following the completion of her undergraduate degree in Sociology from University of Utah, Melanie worked within varying clinical settings before going on to complete her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling at University of Phoenix. She has also completed advanced training in Nutritional Psychology through John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill, CA. In addition to her clinical work, Melanie is also an accomplished artist, loves to spend time with her family and finds joy in serving her community in various capacities.
