"Being human is not hard because you're doing it wrong, it's hard because you're doing it right."
These words, written by the incredible Glennon Doyle, may resonate with you. Life is hard, and seems to be getting harder by the day. Whether you've been struggling for a short time or long-term, I believe that you are worthy of loving yourself and finding joy in this thing called life.
Sometimes it's hard to stay afloat; treading water is both isolating and exhausting. My goal is to meet you where you are. You're looking for a therapist who will understand you, see you, and not judge you. Starting wherever you're ready, I strive to take an empathetic and strengths-based approach to your journey as you learn to laugh again.
I commit to hold space for you as you navigate your healing journey. I specialize in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), systems theory, and crisis intervention with a strengths-based and trauma informed approach. I am LGBTQIA+ affirmative, sex positive, and very much look forward to meeting you.
