Each of us has unique cultural, spiritual, personal, and interpersonal experiences. I'm a true believer that we all possess an internal resourcefulness and resilience. I'm here to assist you in identifying, recognizing, developing, and utilizing these skills and to guide you to discover effective solutions to your struggles while customizing care toward your unique needs. I'm committed to providing compassionate, empathetic, and competent care in order to facilitate your growth and healing. I embrace a holistic approach, taking your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health into consideration in order to empower you as you work to obtain the level of well-being you're seeking.

Much of my clinical work has focused on supporting survivors of trauma on their path toward healing, particularly those with a history of sexual/complex trauma and child abuse. I have worked with adults and couples with a variety of experiences and needs. In addition to working with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and grief, I have experience working with individuals and couples in the areas of intimacy, sex and sexuality, and out of control sexual behavior. Depending on your goals and needs, I employ a number of different therapeutic approaches, most commonly Psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), person-centered therapy, mindfulness, Herman’s tri-phasic model of recovery, and the Gottman method of couples therapy.

Therapy will be one of the best things you do for yourself and I know how hard it can be to take that step. Whether it be with me, or another therapist, I want to encourage you to put yourself first for once. You deserve it and you can do hard things.
